Mini Review: "Sinister"

Much like this years Mama, a respectable enough little thriller thats not great but decent enough.

B-

Mini Review: "Girls Against Boys"

A rape and revenge story where the protagonist is so ...blank...it makes the original I Spit on Your Grave a masterpiece by comparison.

Mini Review: "The Helpers"

A dull, predictable thriller that mistakes loud noises for suspense.  Terrible.

Mini Review: "Playing For Keeps"

A totally predictable yet harmless rom-com where the highlight for me was finding the lead character had played for my beloved Liverpool Football Club (as well as Celtic FC, who I have a very fond spot for) in his past.

So, we move on..

Mini Review: "Warm Bodies"

Much more than the "Twilight" with zombies as it's been mocked, "Warm Bodies" is a fun, and even touching tale of how love and memories can cure the world...even its zombies.

A

Mini Review: "Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters"

More good geek fiction gone awry.  D

Mini Reviews!!!

Battlestar Galactica: Blood and Chrome:  Hell of a nice try, but with ideas stolen (very blatantly I might add) from Top Gun, Pitch Black and others, this one wasnt up to the standards set by its namesake.  It was, however, better than Caprica.   F

The ABC's of Death:  You only need one....F ...for failure.  The film was absolute garbage.  F

Coming Soon:  Warm Bodies, Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters, American Mary, Girls Against Boys and Sinister.
