Mini Review: "The Purge"

Fascinating idea about societal standing and value, quickly devolves into a by the numbers action home invasion flick, even down to the now standard twist ending.  Disappointing.

Mini Review: "Man of Steel"

Bout 45 minutes too long, self indulgent and sloppy. Clearly written to cover the weaknesses of its director as opposed to the strength of the source material. Much like with WWZ, I'm just indifferent toward it.

Mini Review: "World War Z"

More of an action film than a zombie horror type film (its PG-13, what'd you expect?), but overall a decent enough watch.  Far different from the book though, dont even compare the two.
